Here are the questions riders ask most often before booking. If you don’t see yours, feel free to contact us — we’re always happy to help.
Where do the tours start?
All our tours start next to the Colosseum at our StarBike shop. You will recognize the sign and bikes outside.
Do I need to be in shape?
Our e-Bikes are meant for everyone. If you want an easier ride, you can increase the assistance; if you want a bit more effort, you can turn it down. We keep the pace relaxed so the ride feels smooth and enjoyable for all.
Can kids join the tours?
Yes, we are a family-based company and have different options depending on age and height.
Kids options:
- Backseat: reduced price
- Trailer bike: reduced price
- Small-frame bike: same price as adults
If you have questions or concerns, send us your kids’ ages and heights and we will help you choose the safest and most comfortable setup.
What happens if it rains or I need to cancel?
Light rain usually does not stop the fun. If the weather is genuinely bad or unsafe, we will try to reschedule your tour as soon as possible or cancel it and refund you.
You can cancel any tour for free up to 24 hours before the start time. Changes are also free of charge; contact us by email.
What is included in the price?
Every tour includes:
- A high-quality e-Bike and helmet
- English-speaking local guide
- A planned route through Rome with stops for views and stories
Any extra inclusions, such as tickets or tastings, are clearly listed on each tour page.
What if I have not ridden a bike in years?
Many guests tell us they have not ridden in three or four years and still have a great time. Before the tour starts, we give a short briefing and a few minutes to get used to the bike. Our e-Bike have wide tires, so they feel stable, and our guides choose calm, pleasant roads whenever possible.
Which languages do your guides speak?
All our guides speak English and Italian. If you have a special language request, please contact us by email before booking and we will accommodate your request.
How big are the groups?
Our group tours are limited to ten (10) people and are intentionally small so everyone can follow the guide, feel safe, and enjoy the experience. For private tours, it is just your group and your guide.
