Food Tour of Rome by electric bike
Enjoy the culinary and architectural delights
During our street food and cultural tour by electric bike, we will be able to admire some of the most important monuments of the ancient Rome and the most suggestive sights of Trastevere, passing through the characteristic Jewish Quarter.
Pedaling, we will stop to taste some of the most typical dishes of the Roman tradition.
With this tour you can visit a side of Rome more “popular”, not included in many tours.
The route of the Rome “street food tour” by e-bike includes:
First stop: We will enjoy an Italian breakfast with coffee or cappuccino and croissants or “maritozzo”.
We will arrive with the e-bike, at the Roman ruins of the Portico d’Ottavia and the Theatre of Marcellus.
We will enter the Jewish district and have the chance to eat its traditional food: the Jewish style artichoke (carciofo alla Giudìa).
From the Jewish Quarter we will cross the Tiber river on one of its most beautiful bridges, the Sisto Bridge, and we will arrive at Trastevere.
Here, we will have time to taste some Roman finger food specialties such as pizza by the slice and “supplì” (a ball of rice with cheese and tomato sauce). Our tour in Trastevere will include a visit to the medieval church of Santa Maria in Trastevere.
On our way back, we will stop at the romantic Orange Garden on the Aventine Hill, where you will be able to enjoy an unforgettable panoramic view over the entire city.
We will then proceed towards the Bath of Caracalla.
